Alcon launches PRECISION7, a 1-week replacement contact lens

Alcon recently announced the US launch of PRECISION7®, a 1-week replacement lens with the 7-day ACTIV-FLO® system that offers 16 hours of comfortable wear.

The ACTIV-FLO System in PRECISION7 is a combination of a moisturizing agent embedded in the lens matrix and a proprietary replenishing agent that is continually released to moisturize the surface for 7 days.

“When daily disposable lenses aren’t an option, PRECISION7 provides 16 hours of outstanding comfort and precise vision, even on day 7, at a price our patients can afford,” said Jason Compton, OD, FAAO. “It has an easy and intuitive replacement schedule that allows my patients to pick their preferred day of the week to replace their contact lenses.”

PRECISION7 is now available through certain eye care providers and will be more broadly available in January 2025.
