Monica Kalia

After completing residency in 2011 from Indiana University School of Optometry, Dr. Monica Kalia started her career working alongside ophthalmology providing patients with a team of doctors to give exceptional medical and surgical eye care. She currently is a partner at Talley Eye Institute in Evansville, Indiana. Working in a specialty care referral setting, her main area of focus is ocular disease and surgical co-management. She leads the practice’s community giveback initiative. Dr. Kalia has given several continuing education lectures and enjoys working with 4th year students as they rotate thru their clinical year. She was named in Newsweek Magazine America’s Best Eye Doctors in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
