Real-world data highlights the effectiveness of novel multi-purpose solution for contact lens comfort
Real-world data presented at the 2024 American Academy of Optometry Annual Meeting underscores the positive impact of Biotrue Hydration Plus Multi-Purpose Solution (MPS) on enhancing the overall contact lens experience.
The data included 435 habitual soft contact lens users who tested the new MPS for 7 days, reporting their experiences through an online survey. Results showed that the majority (96.8%) agreed the solution kept lenses feeling clean, while 93.6% noted it helped prevent dryness. Over 90% of users reported the solution kept their eyes comfortable throughout the day, even during extended screen use.
Overall satisfaction exceeded 95%, with significant improvements in comfort, hydration, and the prevention of lens dryness compared to typical contact lens wear experiences. No adverse events were reported.
